Fresh southeasterlies are delivering showers onto the northern NSW and QLD coasts. Warm northeasterlies are affecting the country's interior and south coast. Troughs are causing showers and storms over the interior of SA, the NT and WA, while bringing a cool change to the west.
A high over NSW will keep skies mostly clear and dry whilst directing showers along the QLD coast. A trough will trigger showers and storms over central and eastern WA, while a front brings cold southerly winds along the southern coast. Unstable air over NT will cause storms.
A high over the east will keep NSW clear and dry whilst directing showery easterly winds along the QLD east coast. A trough will move into SA and VIC, with hot northerly winds ahead of it. Troughs will trigger showers and storms over WA. A front will clip TAS, causing showers.
A near-stationary high will keep NSW and inland QLD dry and clear, with showery winds along the east QLD coast. A trough will bring a cool showery change to southern SA and thunderstorms to inland WA. A trough will cause isolated showers in eastern VIC and southeast NSW.
A front will cross TAS and clip SA and VIC later, bringing showers and isolated storms. A trough will trigger storms and showers across WA and SA. Tropical Cyclone Ului may approach the QLD coast, causing gales and showers to increase, both in QLD and northeast NSW.
Tropical Cyclone Ului is almost at landfall, driving very heavy rain onto the QLD central and southern coasts. A cold front will spread showers and cold, gusty southwesterly winds across TAS and VIC, while troughs trigger showers and storms across WA.
